I missed having dinner and coffee bondings with my La Salle friends. And since one of our 'kabarkada' was back from Singapore, we decided to have a simple get together. It was only a short notice so only a few were able to make it.

Our choice of restaurant was ClawDaddy's. Most of us were craving for sea foods that's why we chose this place. The dinner get-together then turned out to be Belle's birthday celebration as well. Happy birthday Belle!

After eating dinner, we decided to have a quick chit-chat at Slice. It was my first time to try this coffee place. The ambiance was relaxing. The iced coffee I ordered tasted good. And the cupcake I had was yummy. I'll definitely go back to try their other cute cupcakes.

I definitely enjoyed the short time I spent with these people! Guys, see you on our annual reunion in December! :)

Since we love Fridays and we love food, we thought of ending this wonderful day with good food that's not so pricey.

One of my friends mentioned that there is a restaurant near Makati Medical Center that serves Singaporean dishes at a low cost. And upon hearing that they cook good food, we didn't have any second thoughts of trying this restaurant.

The place and ambiance weren't the best but I must agree that they really serve delicious dishes! 101 Hawker Food House is worth another visit! :)

These two dishes we ordered were able to feed 3 hungry tummies. Not bad, right? There are still a lot of interesting dishes on their menu. We'll surely find time to visit 101 Hawker Food House again! :)

Craving for Cravings

Thank God it's Friday! Everyone must be looking forward to this day because it is the last working day of the week. Most people are probably excited for their weekend plans with friends and family. One of the major reasons why I love Fridays is because it's another food tripping day with my friends.

Craving for good food? Cravings is the answer! We've heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant so we decided to eat lunch here. Apart from the buffet salad bar and good food, we also loved the ambiance of the place.

Every order of the main course gives the customer an access to the buffet salad bar. Isn't that great?!

There are a lot more dishes to try on their menu so we are definitely going back! I surely did enjoy this food tripping day with friends.

Happy Mother's Day Mama!!!

To my dearest Mama,

Thank you for being a father and mother to us. Even if you were not very vocal about it, I know it was a bit difficult for you to bring us up. You sent us to good schools, you never failed to guide us, you provided for our family, you gave the things that we need and want, you listened to our problems... indeed, you did a lot of things for us. No words can ever express how thankful I am to have a mother like you. 

Sorry if there are times that I argue with you. I know you are just concerned about me that's why you sometimes say things that hurt my feelings. But that is normal for a mother like you who cares so much for her daughter.

Thank you for always accompanying me to the hospital during my check-ups even if you have to wake up very early. Thank you for taking care of me at times that I am having flare ups. Thank you for always reminding me not to be to much stressed when it comes to work. When we first learned that I have this medical condition, I really had a hard time accepting it. But you were there to comfort me and to give me strength. Thank you Mama... I know this will soon pass especially now that everything is getting better.

Thank you for your unconditional love. I hope you'll never get tired of taking care of us. Thank you for your patience. I know I have my own shortcomings as a daughter that's why I want to thank you for always understanding me.

It's Wapol Time!!!

We've been craving for waffle since we came back from our Boracay vacation. So to finally fulfill our waffle craving, our hungry tummies brought us to Pancake House.

Peewee ordered for Classic Pancakes. Dolly had Caramel Banana Walnut Waffle. And I ordered for Chocolate Marble Waffle. It was an awesome meryenda! I am pretty much sure that our waffle craving was finally satisfied.
